Will this plugin detect the installations on a real time basis , i.e will this detect the version on newly added accounts immediately ? or should we add them manually to add those in the plugin ?

No the db for the ntVersionCheck plugin update on daily basis. "Last db update" on the plugin page will give the last update time. For update the db manually by running the command "/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/ntv/ntv_scan.sh"
