How To Synchronize One DNS Zones across all servers in WHM

Hi Nix,

I want to sync the DNS changes done on a domain to all nameservers. How can I perform this from WHM?

Hi Lisa,

You can sync one zone file across all DNS servers using the below steps.

1. Login to WHM as root user.
2. Navigate to Main >> DNS Functions >> Synchronize DNS Records.
3. Select the third option 'Synchronize one zone to all servers'.
4. Be sure to type in the domain you need to synchronize.
(One zone will be compared with the same zone on all servers in the cluster and the newest one will be copied to all servers in the cluster.)

5. Select Synchronize.

Now the provided domain zone file will be synced to all NS.

If you just need to run a general sync you can also select "Synchronized all zones to all servers" and all the domains on your server will be synched to the nameservers on their records.
