Do you have any custom php.ini file defined in the document root? If so, please remove it and see if the issue persists.

We have released a new version of the plugin with CentOS/RHEL 7 support today. With the new version, we have removed PHP 5.2 support for CentOS/RHEL 7 systems. Just to update, new version of ntPHPSelector has been released with CentOS/RHEL 7 support. Please note that with new version ( 2.6.1 ), we removed PHP 5.2 support from the plugin for CentOS/RHEL 7.

cPanel is building EasyApache 4 with great features and they turned PHPs into RPMs. We are analyzing their changes now. Meanwhile we will try to push changes to the script and disable PHP 5.2 for CentOS 7 for a successful installation.
