My wordpress shows apache centos default web page “it works”

Recently i have insatlled wordpress on my hosting, but my wordpress page always shows me the apache centos default web page "it works" ./wordpress/ If i type in the web browser http://mywebsite.com/wordpress/ appears a link part of my website. At this point i dont know what to do, i have edited in .htaccess but it did not work for me, anyhelp is appreciated, thank you in advance

Hello,

1. Ask your webhosting provider to check the document root of your website in apache configuration file. Correct the document root and restart the webserver.

2. Check the entries in .htaccess file. Rename .htaccess file and check whether you are still facing any issues.

3. You will see default page if you have recently made any changes in the DNS or if your site is on wrong IP address. Example : You have set A record of your site as 192.168.2.5 and the site on your server is on a different IP address 192.168.3.2.
